The government had pushed the future of teachers into darkness by labelling thousands of schools and divisions in Maharashtra 'Permanently Unaided'. Khanderao Jagdale Sir launched a statewide fight against this unjust tag. He brought 70,000 headmasters, teachers and non-teaching staff from primary, secondary and higher secondary schools across the state onto one platform, forming a historic alliance.
