Memorandum to the Commissioner (Education) and the Directors of Education about a sit-in on 31 August, demanding solutions to school and staff issues and the pending enhanced-stage salaries of partially aided schools.
The memorandum was addressed to the Commissioner (Education), the Director of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary) and the Director of Education (Primary), Pune. Its subjects are resolving the issues of schools, teachers and non-teaching staff, and paying partially aided schools their enhanced-stage salaries for August and September 2025.
It sets out in detail the staff-sanction norms, pending salaries, teacher recruitment through the Pavitra system, provident fund slips, compassionate appointments, vacancies in local-body schools and permission to fill peon posts.
It gives notice of a one-day sit-in at the Directorate of Education, Pune, on 31 August 2026 for these demands. It is signed by vice-president Khanderao Jagdale, organiser Pundlik Rahate and Pune division president Amarsinh Khandekar.
