Memorandum to the Principal Secretary, the Commissioner of Education and the SCERT Director asking that teachers who become eligible for senior and selection grades by the end of November 2026 be trained this year.
Senior and selection grade training has reportedly been postponed to after Diwali because of the census and other government work. With the second phase of the census starting on 1 April 2027, training next year also looks difficult.
It therefore requests that teachers completing 12 years (senior grade) or 24 years (selection grade) of service by the end of November 2026 be included in this year's training, be given a special chance to register, and that no teacher be left out.
